When there is a significant body of work, ready to go. That said, and badges being 'simple things' I have made reasonable progress adding missing chapters to the game.

Badges are simple things, and dropping any kind of custom scheme into DOW2 seems uneccessarily fiddly.

Such as it is however, the options for army customization in DOW2 are a little limited compared to DOW1, at least creatively (for me). I HAVE started doing some badges for DOW2. we'll see, though it does seem like Dawn of War will not let go of me yet. Anyhow, the site is back up and running.Īs for it's future. On the old PC, burried, there were some backed up files. One of those things is the customisation and I hope that CA do add these things because at least for me it would make the game a lot more entertaining and immersive. After many emails about lost content, links to other authors on this site etc. Mark of Chaos did it, so I don't see how this game couldn't.Īll in all the game as it stands is a really good game, but to me it just feels like a base from which to expand - it lacks many features that could make it even better. like in the Campaign, but in the multiplayer they should also be able to give them a selection of parts (different heads, different torsos etc) chosen from a part-picker, like in the tabletop, to even further customise and "convert" your character. They should have the option to give them new weapons, armour etc. Customisable Lords / Heroes - A bit like Avatar Conquest, a Lord should be a representation of the player that they can create themselves.Custom Badges / Banners - Again, players should be able to import custom images like in the Dawn of War games to be able to give their army a unique badge / banner, or even better, for individual units.Army Painter / Unit Painter - Players should be able to customise the colour scheme of each unit, so for example, one unit of Chaos Knights could be red and gold, while another could be a different colour, within the same army.Unit Standard Bearers - Like in the tabletop, players should be able to give each of their units in an army a different standard to give them character and personality. However, I think it could be even greater if it had customisation and personalisation options for multiplayer games, to not only make it closer to the tabletop, but also to add longevity to the game and for players to feel a personal connection to their army like in the tabletop. 2K A Total War Saga: Thrones of BritanniaĬA have created a great game in Total War: Warhammer.844 A Total War Saga: Fall of the Samurai.
